Maddison 1.5 weeks old

This weeks highlight is Maddison who at only 1 and a half weeks is so cute. Some great shots!

Charlie's Christening

Well what can I say another beautiful macedonian christening. This time it was Charlie's turn to be the centre of attention aswell as his georgeous parents Ana and Rob who made me feel instantly welcome thanks guys. After doing a few a shots at the house we were on to the church where after being dunked in the water Charlie let everyone know he was there. For the most part he was fantastic giving everyone his cheeky smiles in between. Now the reception some would say the best bit lots of drinking, great food and good music a great end to the day.
Congratulations to Ana and Rob on the chrsitening of Charlie.

Jem

So after a busy week of formals, expo's and having the flu this little Jem was the highlight. What a cutie, to have captured her first trip to the beach was just fantastic. Here are a few of my favourites....

Jakes Christening

I was extremely privileged to be asked to photograph Jakes christening. It was unlike any other christening I’ve been to. In a great way, of course.

I’m used to the stock-standard aussie-style christening, not the beautifully traditional celebration that is a Macedonian christening. And do these guys know how to celebrate. I often forgot I was there to work, I was enjoying it so much.
The day started at Jake's house as I, along with the videographer, captured everyone arriving. The little man of the day was in a great mood from the get go, which made my job nice and easy. What a great little personality he has.

From there it was on to the ceremony, which I absolutely adored.
It was such a wonderful service, even being unable to understand it, and so many lovely images that I had a hard time choosing what to share here.

It spoke a lot to me about the relationship between father and son. As an observer throughout the day I saw a lot of love pass between them, and it was a very special thing to witness. Daddy was clearly proud of his little boy, as he should be. And it’s being able to capture these emotions and moments that endears me so much to what I do.

After the christening ceremony, it was on to the reception. Think lots of food, lots of dancing, and loads of celebrating going on and you’ll have a rough idea what it was like. I was super impressed with how well Jake took it in stride.

I would easily say a wonderful time was had by all that were there, myself included. Chris and Dianna – thank you so much for the honour of recording this very special day for you all. I can’t wait to share the rest of the images with you
